Pertentangan mengenai komersil dan edukasi kualitas di dance-floor kembali terjadi , 2 tahun lampau terjadi ketika genre break-beat booming dan beberapa DJ papan atas langsung mencibir dengan guyonan dan argument negative terhadap break-beat tersebut .
Diawal tahun 2011 ini kembali terjadi , dengan mem-booming nya genre dutch yang mulai akrab dikuping para pencinta-dance floor hal ini kembali menjadi kontroversi .
